    “In soccer, you don’t wait to feel ready,” Brewer says. “You train, you show up, and you trust the process.”

    That mindset stayed with him as he moved from sport into business.

    NCAA Soccer and the Foundation of Discipline

    At Sacred Heart University, Brewer played NCAA Division I men’s soccer for four years. He was also earning his degree in Communications Technology.

    The schedule was tight. Early practices. Travel. Classes. Study time.

    “You had to be organised or you fell behind fast,” he says. “There was no room for guessing.”

    He remembers film sessions where coaches paused plays to point out small mistakes.

    “They would stop everything over one missed step,” he says. “That taught me to pay attention to details.”

    That habit would later shape how he approached business problems.

    Early Career: Learning What Businesses Miss

    After graduating in 2013, Brewer entered sales. He joined YP.com and worked with small business owners.

    He saw how much effort they put in. Long hours. Constant pressure.

    “I sat across from people who were doing everything themselves,” he says. “They knew their product, but the systems behind their costs were often unclear.”

    Later, at Thomson Reuters FindLaw in Boston, he worked with law firms. The environment was more structured, but the same issue showed up.

    “Pricing was layered. Services were layered,” he says. “It wasn’t always obvious what people were paying for.”

    That pattern stayed with him.

    The Idea Behind Greenhub

    Brewer began to focus on one key problem. Many businesses did not fully understand their payment systems.

    “If you don’t understand a system, you can’t control it,” he says. “And if you can’t control it, you can’t improve it.”

    In 2019, he moved to Las Vegas and started Greenhub. The goal was simple. Bring clarity to a complicated part of business.

    “It wasn’t about doing something new,” he says. “It was about making something clearer.”

    That idea guided how he built the company.

    Building a Company Through Routine

    The early days of Greenhub were hands-on. Brewer handled most of the work himself.

    Sales calls. Client onboarding. Problem solving.

    “I treated it like pre-season,” he says. “No one sees that part. You just show up and do the work.”

    He kept a strict routine. Early mornings. Gym sessions five days a week. Focused work blocks.

    “If my routine slips, everything slips,” he says. “Structure keeps things moving.”

    Growth came slowly. One client at a time. One system at a time.

    In 2025, Brewer was named a Vegas Inc 40 Under 40 honoree. The recognition reflected his leadership and steady progress.

    “It was an honour,” he says. “But the work doesn’t change.”

    Leadership Through Clarity and Simplicity

    Brewer’s leadership style is based on clarity. He avoids unnecessary complexity.

    “In soccer, everyone knows their role,” he says. “If someone is out of position, the whole team feels it.”

    He applies that idea to business. Clear roles. Clear expectations. Clear systems.

    “Complex systems slow people down,” he says. “Simple systems help people move faster.”

    He also emphasises regular review.

    “You look at what worked and what didn’t,” he says. “Then you adjust.”

    Staying Focused Under Pressure

    Brewer uses routine to manage pressure. His schedule is consistent. His habits are steady.

    He also stays active outside of work. Snowboarding. Mountain biking. Time outdoors.

    “When you’re outside, you reset,” he says. “You come back with a clearer head.”

    He sees a direct link between physical energy and decision-making.

    “If I skip workouts, I feel it in my focus,” he says. “Everything gets harder.”

    Sharing Lessons with Others

    Brewer is now working on a merchant services course. The goal is to help others understand systems and build independence.

    “So many people want flexibility,” he says. “But they don’t know where to start.”

    He focuses on practical steps. Not quick wins.

    “Most people underestimate steady effort,” he says. “Small improvements add up over time.”
